The hill top is located north-east of Pokhara and is about a half hour bus drive from Lakeside. Standing at 1,444 m above sea level this place provides spectacular views of the different shades and colors of Annapurna during sunrise and dusk. A tower has been built to give visitors higher grounds to view the mountain landscape. Paragliding can also be done for adventure sport enthusiast.

There are several ways to reach Pokhara Lakeside from Kathmandu Airport, depending on your budget and preferred travel experience:
1. Domestic Flight:
– Time: 25-30 minutes.
– Cost: Approximately NPR 4,000 – 8,000 ($30 – $60) one-way.
– Note:* Flights operate frequently throughout the day. Upon arrival at Pokhara Airport, Lakeside is a 10-15 minute taxi ride costing around NPR 300 – 500.
2. Tourist Bus:
– Time: 6-8 hours.
– Cost: Approximately NPR 1,200 – 2,000 ($9 – $15) one-way.
– Note:* Tourist buses leave early in the morning from Kathmandu and arrive at Pokhara Lakeside by late afternoon.
3. Private Vehicle:
– Time: 5-7 hours.
– Cost: Approximately NPR 12,000 – 15,000 ($90 – $115) one-way for a car, or NPR 4,000 – 6,000 ($30 – $45) per person if sharing a vehicle.
– Note:* This option allows for flexible departure times and comfort.
4. Local Bus:
– Time: 8-10 hours.
– Cost: Approximately NPR 800 – 1,500 ($6 – $11) one-way.
– Note:* These buses are less comfortable but more affordable. Departure is frequent from various bus stations in Kathmandu.
Reaching Pokhara Lakeside from Pokhara Airport or Bus Stop
1. From Pokhara Airport:
– Distance: Approximately 3-5 kilometers to Lakeside.
– Time: 10-15 minutes by taxi.
– Cost: NPR 300 – 500 ($2 – $4).
– Note:* Taxis are readily available outside the airport.
2. From Pokhara Bus Stop:
– Distance: Approximately 3-6 kilometers to Lakeside, depending on the bus stop.
– Time: 10-20 minutes by taxi.
– Cost: NPR 300 – 600 ($2 – $5).
– Note: Taxis and rickshaws are available at the bus stop for a quick ride to Lakeside.

Transfer to Pokhara by Tourist Bus from Tourist bus Park near Thamel. Our team members will take you to the Tourist Bus Park in Pokhara. Transfer to Hotel. Afternoon free. Meeting at 7 PM at reception of your hotel for briefing of Yoga festival.
7 nov to 10 nov Day 3 to Day 6- Yoga Festival
11 nov/Day 7 :Pokhara-Birethanti – Ulleri (1960m) – 6h You will cross several villages before climbing rock stairs to get to Ulleri.
12 nov/Day 8 : Ulleri – Ghorepani (2850m) – 5h
Regular climb through rhododendron forest till Ghorepani.
13 nov/Day 9 : Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3200m) – Tadapani – 6 h
We wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise from Poon Hill. Great overview onDhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Annapurna south, Hiunchuli and Glacier Dome. Go back to your lodge for the breakfast in Ghorepani. Climb to Deurali from where you have a panoramic view, then go down to Banthanti. You will arrive to Tadapani after a small ascent.
14 nov/Day 10 : Tadapani – Chomrong (2170m) – Jhinu Danda 1700 6 h
You will descend to Melanje. This path crosses this village and potatoes, corn and millet fields.You cross the Kimrong Khola and ascend to Chhomrong through some Gurung villages.From Chhomrong, you have a magnificent view on Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare.Step down to Jhinudanda , Hotspring you can enjoy in afternoon.
